Smeena Khan, MD
MEDICAL DIRECTOR, BOARD-CERTIFIED DERMATOLOGIST
Smeena Khan, M.D. was raised in Montreal, Canada and obtained her Bachelors of Science with Honors at McGill University. She went on to receive her Medical Degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine where she was honored to be one of only 6 in her class to be selected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She went to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and then in Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania where she was chosen to serve as Chief Resident in Dermatology.
Huma Riyaz, BSN, RN
DIRECTOR OF THE AESTHETICS INSTITUTE
Huma Riyaz, BSN, RN has taken a non-traditional path to her career as an aesthetic nurse injector. She was raised in the Northern Virginia area and attended VCU in Richmond, VA, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work. As a social worker she worked in the non-profit sector with homeless families and intellectually and developmentally disabled adults. Huma recently earned her second bachelor’s degree in Nursing from George Washington University’s Accelerated Nursing program while also working as Dr. Khan’s medical assistant.
Ashley Holbrook, PA-C
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Ashley Holbrook, PA-C was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Virginia before completing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and an active member of The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Julia Kelly, PA-C
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT / ASSOCIATE
Julia Kelly, PA-C was raised in Northern Virginia, and has dedicated her career to serving our local community. She graduated cum laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University. She is a dedicated member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to provide comprehensive education and care to a diverse patient population.
